Reference sites

One of the major objectives from the AGGAT program is to support member companies in developing, testing and validating the performance of their plants and equipment. This includes the development of reference and test sites which also provide an opportunity to showcase prodicts prior to market entry.

The AGGAT programme is supported by industry partners who have offered their industrial sites and heat resources as test beds for installation and demonstration of AGGAT technologies. These field installations are a prime testing source for new products in real industrial environments providing real data feedback to our researchers for analysis purposes. Currently the heat resources available are from low enthalpy geothermal and industrial waste heat sources. The scale of power that can be generated from these resources is in the range of 100-250kW, but will likely increase in the future.
